A mission critical company in the Critical Power/Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) industry is looking for a UPS Field Engineer perform troubleshooting and preventative maintenance tasks on the UPS Battery systems at multiple customer sites.

Duties and Responsibilities

 

· Perform maintenance, equipment start-ups, battery replacements, commissioning and other related functions for Uninterruptible Power Supply equipment at multiple client sites within the assigned territory

 

· Document all installations, troubleshooting, inspections, preventative maintenance and repairs

 

· Travel to client sites within territory

 

· Maintain excellent customer service and professionalism while at client sites

 

Qualifications and Skills

 

· A 2-4 year technical degree/certificate in related field or military experience in electronics or avionics (avionics, nuclear electricians, electricians, etc.)

 

· Uninterruptible Power Supply experience is a plus or electrical experience

 

· Knowledge of equipment manufacturers (OEM) specifications

 

· Capable of utilizing hand tools and test equipment to perform work

 

· Customer oriented

 

· Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a fully insurable status
