A San Diego-based passenger day cruise line, is seeking a Marine Mechanic to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs for a fleet of vessels. Marine engine experience is ideal but not required, yet diesel engine experience is needed.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Preform preventative maintenance, repair and troubleshooting for the fleet of vessels
- Ensure boat systems, decks and hulls are in safe/proper condition
- Troubleshoot, repair, and diagnose Scania engines
- Diagnose and repair marine electronics systems, generators, electrical systems, pumps, & plumbing
- Perform miscellaneous repairs on decks, hull, & other
- Maintain records, logs and reports of maintenance performed
- Communicate in a professional manner
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience with marine diesel engines a plus but not required
- 2+ years of Diesel engine repair (trucks or construction equipment mechanics) will be considered
- Mechanically inclined
