A nationwide leader in the industrial emergency generator industry is looking for a Territory Sales Manager to establish new accounts and maintain and grow current business. The ideal candidate has experience with generators and power generation.

Job Type a Location and Schedule

  • This role is hybrid
  • Willing to travel to visit customers within the territory (Hawaii, Guam and Saipan) 60-70% travel
  • Location: Kapolei, Hawaii

Compensation and Benefits

  • $100-125k base salary + Commission (guaranteed commission provided for several months, initially)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Sells power generation solutions to existing clients and develops new business opportunities
  • Familiar with generators, switchgear, & transfer switches
  • Sells new product solutions and service packages
  • Understands customer needs and delivers an effective product/solution
  • Provides customers with technical expertise and product knowledge
  • Manages entire full-cycle sales process from initial contact to delivery and closing
  • Prepares proposals, quotes and presentations
  • Develops and maintains key business relationships
  • Maintains CRM software with new and prospective clients

Qualifications and Skills

  • MTU generator experience is ideal, CAT, Kohler, Generac and Cummins also applies
  • Technical experience preferred (electricity and power generation)
  • Proven success at managing and closing deals
  • Must be extremely customer-oriented, with a caring attitude and willingness to help others
  • Must be comfortable with cold calling, warm calling and networking
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
